Individuals may experience speech and language difficulties for a variety of reasons. Speech-Language Pathologists are trained to evaluate, identify and treat speech disorders. Speech therapists also evaluate and assist with swallowing disorders. Speech therapy and swallowing assessment is offered for inpatient, swing bed and home health evaluation and services by a professionally trained and licensed speech-language pathologist.
